The discourse of the companions the prophet and their justice has been on the stage since the eraly period of the development of Islamic thought, especially the knowledge of prophetic tradition. Since that time, the discourse has never been broached for purpose of textual critism, in the sense that the prophetic tradition has been widely considered to be untouched subject matter. On the contrary, the accentuation on the comparative study of the Sunni and Shi'i in examining the justice of Sahabat should be propounded more convincingly. The corollary consequence of the comparative study is that the relevant data concerming the relevation and the historical data of Sahabat must be undeniably explored more objectively. This exploration is not aimed at adoring the virtue of Sahabat, but is merely intended to develop the academic discourse on the justice of Sahabat.
