This study is intended to identity the constraints of learning statistics faced by both lecturers and students in Tarbiyah Faculty and the statistics materials needed by students. It look 19 lecturers and 62 studensts of Faculty as sample. The data were collected using quastionnaire and interview. It was found out that the students' comprehension of statistics materials was low. This is due to several reasons: (a) inadequate competence of statistics lecturer, (b) lack of statistics instructional media, and (c) shortage of time allotted to statistic subject, only 2 credits.
