One of fundamental points that promulgated by al farabi is that phylosophy is not only confined to the speculation of phylosophersbut should also be oriented to the eathly life, the corporeal world. Therefore, his suptantifve thought falls into to major divisions, namely metaphysics and politics. Politic proper is intended to achieve the ultimate aim of human beings, which is happiness or perfection. indeed, the highest perfection that man desires to attain is intellectual perfection.het.
