This study analyzes news from memorandum daily that relates to violent actions to woman published in may 2005. The news chosen as samples are analyzed in the textual level using six models in discourse analysis, that is, Thematic structure, stylistic structure, and rhetoric structure. The results of the study so that the news published by memorandum daily about violence to woman tent to attack and marginalize women as the objects of the violence. The woman marginalization appears in the news that describes women's sufferings in a detailed way. What is communicated is facused to the woman as the causes and also the objects of the violence. Meanwhile, from the rhetoric, the news text is designed using titles and photos that discredit women.het.
