The spirit of Islamic education is the teaching of God's oneness known as Spiritual Quotient [SQ]. The more knowledge human attains, the more wisdom he could reach. On the contrary, the trivialization of human's spiritual because of his knowledge indicates that he is in a wrong path. Therefore, it is better to reformulate the Islamic concepts of God's oneness and eternal value, for the nature of God is similiar with the nature of His unchangeable value. In addition human's intellectual consciousness toward these concepts is called hikmah [wisdom] that could lead human to much goodness and a better life. Islamic education therefore, should be directed toward this wisdom; all educational concepts and activities must be based on the teaching of God's oneness as commanded by the Qur'an. In general, spiritual quotient in the development of human's intellectuality functions in the usefulness of knowledge. The spiritual education leads human toward his good characters and pure spirits...ifa.
